Auricular acupuncture:

Auricular acupuncture also called ear acupuncture is a treatment system based on regulation of body dysfunction by stimulation of specific points on the ear. It is a technique which was first described in France in 1950 by Paul Nogier who is considered to be the father of modern Ear Acupuncture. The treatment consists in stimulation of chosen points with a manual pressure, needling or application of magnets or seeds. Auricular acupuncture is used in combination with the main acupuncture treatment or on its own. It is considered to be effective in pain management, treatment of addictions, detoxification.
